because it is yachting without the work of ownership. You do not have to worry if the boat is clean, if there is fuel, if the holding tank has been pumped, and if the batteries are maintained. You probably get the picture... with Seanote Yacht Club you get the "fun" part of boating!
Seanote cruises the main lake and the great bays of Lake Minnetonka featuring some of the most spectacular homes in the midwest. You could also enjoy yachting to your favorite restaurant in Excelsior and Wayzata. You would, however, probably just want to spend most of your time slowly cruising the magnificent shoreline and enjoying the lake with your guests.
Seanote is docked at Tonka Bay East Marina on Minnetonka Blvd on the east side of Excelsior Bay. You are treated like a yacht owner and parking is available near the marina for one or two cars. If you have larger groups we would assist with parking arrangements.
For small friend and family events you would probably bring your own food and beverages when you arrive. For larger groups we could assist you or your caterer with these arrangements. Basic supplies such as beverage cups, disposable plates and utensils are on the yacht. For groups of 10 or less, china and silver can be arranged. Each member will also be provided with a small storage area to keep personal items and liquor.
The club calendar will be available online and you may pick your date depending on level of membership. You may also call the SYC office.
To assure that you receive the best service, we would appreciate that reservations be made at least one week in advance. If it looks like a perfect day and you wish to plan a last minute event, SYC requests that you plan at least 24 hours prior to your event.
